Rupees are the main currency used in Realms of Hyrule, in both the RP and the shop. You will need rupees to purchase all weapons, items, summons, etc. from the RPG Shop for your character. There are a lot of ways to get rupees, and a lot of ways to spend them. The main way to gain rupees is to post in the RP forums. Whenever you post in the RP, rupees are automatically gained. The amount gained is somewhat random, but is affected by the length of your post. Thus, the more detail and effort you put into your story, the more rupees you will earn.

Another way to gain rupees is through special events outside the RP. This includes, but is not limited to, winning officially held contests, winning duels, and as rewards for completing side quests.
